Peptide therapy

Signals, not
stimulants.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as messengers, telling your body to repair, recover or regulate. Prescribed properly, they are a precise tool rather than a blunt one.

Recognising the signs

Any of these sound familiar?

  • Recovery slower than it used to be
  • An injury that has stalled short of full function
  • Sleep that no longer restores you
  • Training plateaued despite consistency
  • Interested in prevention, not just repair
  • Wary of anything bought online without a script

None of these confirm anything on their own. That is exactly why a proper assessment beats guessing.

The thinking

Your body already speaks this language

Peptides occur naturally throughout the body, carrying instructions between cells. Therapeutic peptides work the same way: rather than overriding a system, they signal one that is already there. That is why the approach is targeted, and why it has to be matched to what is actually going on with you.

What you are trying to achieve

Recovery, repair, sleep, body composition or long-term health. Different goals point to different approaches, and the conversation starts there.

Whether it is appropriate

Your doctor reviews your history, your medications and your goals, and will say plainly if peptides are not the right tool for your situation.

Where it comes from

Anything prescribed is compounded by a licensed Australian pharmacy against your prescription. No grey market, no imports, no guessing what is in the vial.

What you get

A programme, not a prescription.

Every OPTIV pathway is doctor-led and built around your situation. Here is what that actually involves.

A free 15-minute call

With our care team, before you commit to anything. We explain how it works, what it costs, and whether we are the right fit for what you are dealing with.

A comprehensive assessment

Your goals, your history and your current health, reviewed properly rather than through a two-minute questionnaire.

A consultation with a doctor

An Australian-registered practitioner who reviews your assessment, discusses what is appropriate, and answers your questions directly.

A personalised plan

Built around you. If treatment is clinically appropriate it is dispensed by a licensed Australian pharmacy and delivered discreetly.

Ongoing support

Your care team is reachable throughout. Questions between appointments are expected, not an imposition.

A follow-up review

At the end of your cycle your doctor reviews how you have responded and decides with you whether to continue, adjust or stop.

Your journey

Your 12-week programme.

What actually happens, stage by stage, from your first call to your review.

Week 1–2

Getting started

Your free call, then a doctor consultation covering your goals, your history and whether peptides are the right tool for what you are dealing with.

Plan agreed and underway
Week 3–4

Early weeks

Your plan begins, dispensed by a licensed Australian pharmacy. Your care team checks in, because the first few weeks are when questions actually surface.

First check-in with your care team
Week 5–8

Consistency

The stretch that decides most outcomes. Anything not working is raised and adjusted rather than endured to the end of the cycle.

Adjustments made as needed
Week 9–12

Review

Your doctor reviews how you have responded across the full cycle and decides with you whether to continue, change or stop.

Full review with your doctor

Timings are indicative of the programme, not a promise about results. Everyone responds differently, and your doctor will set expectations for your situation at your consultation.

How it works

Three steps. The first one's free.

1

Free consult

Fifteen minutes with our care team. We explain the process, what it costs and what to expect, and answer anything you want to ask. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.

2

See your doctor

A telehealth consultation with an Australian-registered doctor, who reviews your assessment and decides what is clinically appropriate.

3

Your plan

If approved, a personalised plan dispensed by a licensed Australian pharmacy, with ongoing support and a review at the end of your cycle.

Questions

Before you book.

Therapeutic peptides are prescription-only medicines here. They are entirely legal when prescribed by an AHPRA-registered doctor and dispensed by a licensed pharmacy. Buying them online without a prescription is not, and what arrives is frequently not what was advertised.
No. Peptides are signalling molecules that act on existing pathways. Anabolic steroids are hormones that act directly and at supraphysiological doses. Different mechanism, different risk profile, different purpose entirely.
It varies considerably by peptide. Some have substantial clinical research behind them; others are promising but early, and a few are mostly marketing. Your doctor will tell you honestly which category applies to anything discussed, including where the evidence is thin.
A fifteen-minute call with the OPTIV care team. We explain how the process works, what it costs and what happens next. No cost, and no obligation to book anything afterwards.
No. Everything is arranged through our clinic. We are happy to send your GP a copy of your plan if you would like.
Australian-registered doctors. Treatment is only ever prescribed after a consultation and where the doctor judges it clinically appropriate.
Licensed Australian pharmacies, dispensed against your prescription and delivered in plain packaging.
